Etna, Sicily
It's the highest active volcano in Europe, with 3,350 meters high, a diameter of 45 km and the slopes that reach the sea, south of Catania. In winter, the volcano you can ski in the summer, however, it climbs to the summit of paths marked, safe and accessible to all, by foot, by jeep or mountain bike along the valleys and covered with lava stones and among chestnut forests, beech, pine trees and blooming flowers.

Its name in Quechua means "throat or burning fire" in the Andes of Ecuador, the Tungurahua is one of the most powerful volcanoes in constant activity since 1999. Since then explosions of ash, rock and magma have terrorized the inhabitants of the surrounding villages, causing casualties and damage. In July 2013 the explosions caused ash launches up to five kilometers high.

It's the most active volcano and spectacular homonyms chain, the African Afar Triangle. The eruptions are continuous and a spiral of smoke coming out of a lava lake within the crater.
Gunung Bromo, Indonesia

It is an active volcano and belongs to the National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru, on the island of Java. Its summit is 2392 meters and is the best known of the Teenager chain. The last eruption dates back to November 26, 2011. The area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Indonesia.
Kilauea, Hawaii

The natural wonder of this volcano is observed just during the eruption: lava cools rapidly on contact with seawater shaped clouds of gas and steam, while increasing the island's surface; are created also sudden lava fountains, with relapses and solidification of ash, the formation and collapse of cones.
Mauna Loa, Hawaii

It has a volume of 75,000 kilometers cubes and is the largest active volcano in the volume Earth. Since its cone-shaped structure rests on the deep ocean floor approximately 5000 m, the overall height of the mountain is higher than Everest.
Popocatepetl, Mexico

With a height of 5465 meters, it is the second highest volcano in Mexico, and one of the most active volcanoes in the country. It is located 70 km south east of Mexico City.
Eyjafjallajokull, Iceland

It is located in the southern part of the island, north of the village of Skógar the fifth of the Icelandic glaciers by extension - about 100 square kilometers. The southern end of the glacier-volcano is covered with waterfalls and two of the glacier tongues, and Gígjökull Steinsholtsjökull, ending in glacial lakes where you can see small floating icebergs.
